⚠️ Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund. We reserve the right to report illegal activities to Nigerian authorities.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Sellmur Platform to:

  • Violate any federal, state, or local laws of Nigeria or your jurisdiction.
  • Engage in fraud, deception, or misleading business practices.
  • Operate a storefront that solicits payment without intent or ability to deliver.
  • Sell counterfeit goods, stolen items, or products infringing intellectual property.
  • Process transactions for illegal goods or services.
  • Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten others.
  • Discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.

2. Prohibited Products & Services

The following are strictly prohibited on Sellmur storefronts:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, and explosives
  • Counterfeit or replica goods
  • Stolen property
  • Human trafficking or exploitation services
  • Unlicensed gambling or lottery services
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content
  • Personal information obtained illegally
  • Products making unsubstantiated health claims
  • Any item or service prohibited by Nigerian law

3. Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Using strong, unique passwords for your account.
  • Not sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons.
  • Regularly reviewing staff permissions.
  • Immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Sellmur is not liable for losses from compromised credentials, shared passwords, or unauthorized access due to user negligence.

4. Messaging & Communications

When using SMS and email features, you agree to:

  • Obtain prior consent before sending marketing messages.
  • Provide clear opt-out mechanisms in all communications.
  • Not send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or harassing communications.
  • Comply with Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) regulations.

5. Data & Privacy Obligations

When managing customer data through Sellmur:

  • Inform customers about data collection and usage.
  • Obtain appropriate consent where required by law.
  • Do not sell or share customer data without explicit consent.
  • Comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

6. Platform Integrity

You may not:

  • Bypass, disable, or circumvent Platform security features.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission.
  • Test or probe Platform vulnerabilities.
  • Overload or crash Platform servers.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor Platform activity for compliance.
  • Remove content or listings that violate this policy.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activities.
  • Report illegal activities to EFCC, Nigerian Police Force, or relevant authorities.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
